The Megger MIT415 Insulation and Continuity Tester has been specially designed for industrial, commercial and domestic electricians and is perfect for insulation, continuity and ESD testing.
Like the Megger MIT310 and Megger MIT320, the MIT415 offers the combination of an analogue arc display and a dual digital display for a comprehensive and clear way of viewing measurement results.
The Analogue Arc display features a single needle response which mimics a moving coil meter and shows essential charge and discharge characteristics that are not visible on digital numeric only displays.
The Dual digital display enables additional data such as Insulation test voltage, Insulation leakage current, Supply frequency (when measuring volts) and test mode to be displayed in unison with the main measurement results.
Designed to be exceptionally safe the Megger MIT 415 meets IEC1010-2, EN61557 and the safety requirements for use on the CAT IV 600 V. The fast detecting circuitry of this Megger tester prevents damage to the instruments if accidentally connected to live circuits or across phases.
The tough outer casing of the Megger MIT415 makes it waterproof, easy to grip and almost indestructible. Accessories included alongside this Megger tester include an information CD, a calibration certificate,a rubber boot with stand and a SP5 remote switch probe.

Insulation buzzer - The buzzer can operate if the insulation resistance is above a preset limit, set via the Setup menu.

200 mA or 20 mA - Either 200 mA or 20 mA continuity test currents are available. 20 mA test current will considerably increase battery life.

Lead null - Lead resistance compensation (NULL) operates up to 10 ½ of resistance.

Buzzer - ON-OFF selected by simple push button.

Buzzer limit - Continuity buzzer limit alarm provides adjustment of the maximum resistance at which the continuity buzzer sounds. This is adjustable from 1 ½ to 20 ½ in 5 steps.
