Megger MIT430 Insulation and Continuity Tester

The Megger MIT430 Insulation and Continuity Tester has an excellent range of functions and features which are perfect for the electrical testing conducted by utilities, industrial, commercial and domestic electricians.

This Megger tester has a test voltage range of 50V to 1000V and has a test lock which locks insulation tests on continuously.

The MIT430 tester features an analogue arc and a dual digital display combination, as seen on the other Megger testers in this range including the Megger MIT310, Megger MIT320 and Megger MIT415.

The analogue arc features a single pointer needle response similar to a moving coil meter and shows essential charge and discharge.

For good visibility of all measurement result the dual digital display has a large main digital readout and an second display or additional test data.

If you want an insulation tester which can store and download test results the MIT430 has an onboard memory and can transfer data via Bluetooth to your PC.

High levels of safety are guaranteed with this Megger tester which is designed to meet the IEC1010-2, EN61557 and the safety requirements for use on CAT IV 600V.

Megger MIT430 Insulation Testing Key Features:

  • Test voltage - 50 V to 1000 V

  • Insulation buzzer - The buzzer can be set to buzz if the insulation resistance is above a preset limit, set via the Setup menu.

Megger MIT430 Continuity Testing Key Features:

  • Auto-test - Auto test on circuit contact enables real two handed operation without the need to press the test button.
  • 200 mA or 20 mA - Either 200 mA or 20 mA continuity test currents are available. 20 mA test current will considerably increase battery life.
  • Lead null - Lead resistance compensation (NULL) operates up to 9.99Ω of resistance.
  • Buzzer - ON-OFF selected by simple push button.
  • Buzzer limit - Continuity buzzer limit alarm provides adjustment of the maximum resistance the continuity buzzer sounds. This is adjustable from 1Ω to 20Ω in 5 steps.
