Fluke 1654B Installation Tester: The complete test instrument for advanced users

The Fluke 1654B is one of the most complete installation testers on the market today. It includes everything a contractor could need, such as inbuilt memory and a wide range of test functions.

New RCD Type B applications

Mains systems with frequency converters (i.e. building sites), appliances including switch mode power supplies, solar systems must be protected with RCD type B (draft IEC 60364-5-53 / DIN VDE 0100-530, IEC 60364-7-712 / DIN VDE 0100-712).
In the event of an insulation fault the leakage current could be a pure DC current, which is only detected by RCD type B.
The Fluke 1654B Electrical Tester has a full RCD testing function which includes RCD type AC, A and the new RCD type B.

Fast and innovative

Take two measurements at once with a dual display. PEFC/PSC and loop impedance are measured and displayed in parallel.
Brand new high current loop mode. Faster measurements in comparison to loop tests with non-trip mode for RCD’s.
Fast voltage measurement between L-N, L-PE and N-PE using the mains cord. No need to change measurement connections.
The latest Fluke 1650 series of testers come with a Zero Adaptor for fast, reliable and accurate test lead and mains cord compensation. This Adaptor can be used for mains plugs, probes, alligator clips and more.
The Fluke 1654B Multifunction Installation Tester comes with a slim probe with test button so you can keep your eyes on the display while probing difficult to reach points.

Compact and lightweight, the Fluke 1654B Tester weighs only 1.3KG and can withstand a drop from 1m.
Earth Volt Touchpad detects raised earth voltages >50V, indicating potential dangerous situations.
As standard this Fluke instrument is supplied with fused test leads that comply with GS38.
