Megger MFT1720 Multifunction Tester

The MFT1720 Installation Tester from Megger is part of the new MFT 1700 series and has been designed as a heavy duty piece of equipment which has the capability to withstand being dropped or bounced.

This Megger 17th Edition and Part P test instrument will still work if connected across phases, when the wrong range is selected or when accidentally connected to live circuits. It also has the ability to perform safely in the rain, is dust proof to IP54 and is a CAT IV safety device.

Test buttons at both ends of the MFT1720 Tester ensure there is always one to hand when required and the colour coded rotary dials ensure an easy selection process.

With a large backlit display and a carry case with space for all your additional test equipment, this installation tester is an ideal choice for any electrician or contractor.

This Megger MFT Tester covers a wide variety of tests including: insulation test, continuity and resistance test with the new 15mA range, RCD test, loop test including the new 2 wire no trip test L.PE and PFC measurement displayed with loop resistance per loop testing ranges and, voltage frequency and phase rotation with a new frequency of 15Hz-400Hz.
