The EurotestCombo from Metrel is a new generation Part P and 17th Edition tester. Designed to enhance the ease of testing and improve speed, this tester has new technology solutions for testing ring circuits and B type RCD’s.

The Metrel MI 3125B EurotestCOMBO Pro Installation Tester contains present characteristics of fuses and RCDs for the automatic evaluation of line/loop impedance results.

The red and green LED lights on either side of the screen clearly indicate a pass/fail making your testing much faster. This tester will allow limits to be user set or automatically measured from preset levels. The tester also has help screens for each test which describe how to connect the tester to the installation and carry out the measurement.

By connecting the Metrel MI 3125B Multifunction Tester to a PC you can download all results with the Eurolink Pro software enabling the printing and managing of reports If you require NICEIC approved reports and the ability to re-upload results to the tester then look at the Metrel MI 3125B with Eurolink Pro Plus Software.

Metrel MI 3125B EurotestCOMBO Pro Installation Tester key features:

Automated R1+R2 testing: The Metrel A 1214 EASI Switch Adaptor is the first adaptor to allow automatic R1+R2 measurements (i.e. no need to swap leads or use connectors).
B type RCD testing: Type B is an increasingly popular choice of RCD as they offer more protection than A- and AC-type RCDs. AC-type RCDs protect only against AC leakage currents. The Metrel MI3125B Eurotest COMBO Tester has the ability to test B-type RCDs up to IΔN=500 mA.
