IET Wiring Regulations 17th Edition Amendment No.1: 2011

The latest IET (IEE) Regulations including Amendment No.1 2011.

The IET Wiring Regulations (BS:7671) Amendment No.1: 2011 are the national standard to which all domestic and industrial wiring must conform. The 17th Edition of BS7671:2008 (2011) Wiring Regulations came into publication on the 21st of January 2008, updating 16th Edition which came into place in 1991.

BS:7671 (2011) applies to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations, also additions and alterations to existing installations. Existing installations that have been installed in accordance with earlier editions of the Regulations may not comply with this edition in every respect. This does not necessarily mean that they are unsafe for continued use or require upgrading.

• IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2008 - 2011 (17th Edition) includes changes necessary to maintain technical alignment with CENELEC harmonization documents.
• IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2008 (17th Edition) Requirements for Electrical Installations came into effect on 1st July 2008.
