Kewtech Fuse Finder

description

technical info

The Fusefinder from Kewtech has the ability to identify circuits and consists of two separate parts, a transmitter and a receiver.

Containing a mains and fused test lead set, the Kewtech Fuse Finder is ideal for identifying circuits.

The transmitter part of the fuse finder connects to the circuit that is to be traced through the mains lead or the fused test lead set. It has no need for batteries as the transmitter is powered from the supply.

By injecting a signal into the circuit, the transmitter can allow the receiver to pick up that signal at the fuse board.

The receiver part of the fuse finder has the ability to auto-tune when scanning a bank of fuses/MCBs.

A minimum of two scans are required so that the receiver can adjust its sensitivity to detect the strongest signal and in turn the correct fuse for the circuit under test.

The clear LEDs show the signal strength and the fuse finder’s auto power off function allows battery life to be maximised.
