Martindale MTL7 Drummond Test Lamp

The Martindale MTL7 (John Drummond Test Lamp) is fuse protected and complies with GS38, making it ideal for low cost voltage testing. It gives clear positive indication of the presence of voltage and is not sensitive to the presence of phantom voltages.

Before testing, The Martindale MTL7 Test Lamp should always be proved safe and this can be done by testing on a known live circuit, using a continuity tester or through a recommended proving unit.

Martindale MTL7 Drummond Test Lamp features

• Tough moulded body houses 240V
• 15W special rough service filament lamp
• HRC fuse is incorporated within the body
• Double insulated EPR/CPS cable, oil resistant and flame retardant
• 1.3m long cable with black outer and white inner
• Multi-strand tinned copper 2.5mm conductor
• High insulation moulded prod handle housing current limiting resistor and second HRC fuse
• Two straight and one angled screw in probes have hard insulation to less than 2mm of the tip
• Optional special purpose long probes are 83mm long
