The Loopcheck 107 from Kewtech can check important parameters for safe wiring, allowing users to ensure cost effective safety.
The Kewtech 107 Socket Tester checks for correct polarity at the socket under test. It can detect if the earth path is missing and if the path is good enough to ensure safety.
This tester is easy to operate and can automatically run a wiring check when inserted into a socket. If a satisfactory result is determined then green LEDs will light and a continuous tone will sound. Faults will light up the red and orange LEDs and a warble tone will sound.
The LEDs are positioned to represent the polarity of the pins. This gives a visual indication of where the fault lies.
With the ability to test the quality of the earth loop at mains frequency, one of the three different colour LEDs will light indicating the condition of the earth loop return path.
This Kewtech socket tester has the ability to check for correct polarity of the mains supply. The left side touch button checks the operation of 30mA RCDs by putting out a measured tripping current.
