This Kewtech KEWSL1 Digital Sound Level Meter provides a quick and easy way to ensure compliance with the Part E of building regulations noise level requirements.

Building regulations state that noise insulation levels between properties and the noise levels of sirens and fire bells need to be measured.

With a range dynamic range from 40 to 130dB x 0.1dB, this digital sound meter is dedicated to ‘A’ frequency weighting and is perfectly suited to the needs of the electrical contractor.

The 26mm LCD screen on this digital sound meter displays clear and accurate results. An auto backlight feature of the LCD display enables testing in dimly lit environments.

For conservation of power this digital sound level meter has an auto power off function which turns off the device after 15 minutes of inactivity and a low battery indication alerts the user when batteries need changing or recharging.

A precision ½ inch electrets condenser microphone featured with the Kewtech KEWSL1 updates measurements every 0.5 seconds and the Min/Max hold function stores the minimum and maximum measurement readings.
