Sauter TU 300-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The Sauter TU 300-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge can test the thickness of metallic and non-metallic materials.

This ultrasonic thickness meter has a maximum measurement value of 300mm (11.811 inches) and can be set to measure in either mm or inches.

In addition to practical, power preserving functions such as Auto Sleep and Auto Power Off, the Sauter TU 300-0.01 Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge features a Limit Value function and a Scan function. These functions allow the user to tailor the thickness gauge to his/her needs. For example, the Scan function allows the user to take thickness measurements over a large surface area. This function increases the number of measurements taken per second from four (the number taken during the usual single point measurement setting) to ten, allowing the user to easily identify the thinnest point over the surface area. The Limit Value function also aids the user’s efficiency as, when activated, this function allows the user to set a minimum and maximum value and if a new minimum and/or maximum value is detected over the course of the testing period this ultrasonic thickness gauge will issue a visual and audible alarm. This removes the need to constantly check the display for the measurement values detected.

Along with the Sauter TU 300-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge’s extensive measurement capabilities, this product also has an internal memory which can store up to twenty files composed of one hundred values and has a RS 232 interface which can be used to connect the Sauter TU 300-0.01US to a PC or printer.

This product puts versatility-of-use and accuracy at the forefront of its design, so in addition to its multiple measurement functions and extensive memory, this product can also be calibrated to various standards, including in reference to a known thickness, or known sound velocity. It is also capable of two-point calibration and comes with a calibration block.

Finally, the Sauter TU 300-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is composed of a robust metal casing and comes equipped with an external sensor, ensuring that this product can be used in rugged environments and/or difficult-to-reach spaces.
