The Martindale PD690 Proving Unit is battery powered and produces 690V AC/DC allowing voltage testers to be fully checked.

This proving unit is able to check voltage indicators with ranges above 250V and can check 230V, 415V and 440V AC/DC detection range indicator.

The output on the Martindale PD690 Proving Unit is sufficient to illuminate a Drummond lamp bulb, therefore is able to check Drummond and filament test lamps.

The Martindale PD690 unit has not been designed for use with multimeters.
