The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit can be used to locate energised and de-energised wires, breakers and fuses safely and easily. This kit functions by connecting the transmitter to the circuit and using the receiver to detect the signal in the wires and cables behind walls, ceilings and floors. For a quick introduction to the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit, please see the following video.
The transmitter is suitable for use on energised and de-energised circuits up to 600V AC/DC in category I through to category III electrical environments; it enables the user to work on energised circuits without having to take the equipment offline thereby reducing downtime.
In addition to this, the transmitter is equipped with two optimal tracing frequencies which are automatically activated based on the detected voltage. It also includes a high signal mode for general tracing and a loop mode for locating shorts. These features make the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit suitable for the following applications:
- Tracing energised and de-energised wires
- Identifying breakers and fuses
- Finding breaks and opens
- Finding shorts
- Tracing wires in metal conduits
- Tracing non-metallic pipes and conduits
- Tracing shielded wires
- Tracing underground wires
- Tracing low voltage wires and data cables
- Sorting bundled wires
- Mapping circuits with test leads
- Tracing breakers on systems with light dimmers
The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit is suitable for use on RCD-protected circuits. When used with a signal clamp, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit can trace closed-loop circuits. The Beha-Amprobe CT-400 Signal Clamp induces a tracing signal on the cable allowing the user to map circuits where there is no access to bare conductors. The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit is also compatible with standard test leads.
The receiver allows the user to locate wires easily as it will issue an audible alert and is equipped with a two-digit readout with a bar-graph. The sensitivity of the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit can be adjusted and its tip sensor allows the user to trace wires in tight spaces. The transmitter is also optimised for simplicity of use as it features an easy-to-use one-button operating system.
The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit is a simple-to-use, safe and versatile cable location kit.
