Handheld and portable, Beha-Amprobe's TMD-56 is a dual input digital thermometer that can be used to carry out temperature testing in everywhere from domestic environments to complex electrical systems.
Since this product is a datalogging digital thermometer it is capable of storing up to 16000 records on the tester, allowing users to accurately track changes in overall temperature levels over shorter or longer time periods. The dual input capability of the tester allows two thermocouples to be equipped to the unit at the same time with both values relayed simultaneously on the TMD-56's built-in screen.
In order to make the scope of this thermometer as wide as possible it also comes with the ability to use up to seven different thermocouple types with the unit in order to gain measurements. It is compatible with K, J, T, E, R, S and N type thermocouples and depending upon which thermocouple(s) are connected the overall measurement capabilities of the device change.
This unit can also carry out MAX/MIN or MAX-MIN calculations, has an average, relative zero and hold function and also features audible warnings when temperature threshold levels are exceeded.
