The Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver can be used to trace wires and cables. It is suitable for use as a standalone instrument and with the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter (sold separately). The Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver operates by detecting the signals in wires and cables. When used with the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver will perform active tracing; when used separately, it will conduct passive tracing.

In addition to this, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver features a sensor located in its tip, allowing the user to trace wires in corners, tight spaces and junction boxes.

Expanding the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver’s scope-for-use, and allowing the user to tailor the instrument to the application, is its four tracing modes:

  • Quick Scan Wire Tracing: fast wire detection at longer distances
  • Precision Wire Tracing: precisely pinpoints wires or faults behind walls, floors and ceilings
  • Breaker/ Fuse Identification: this automatic sensitivity feature facilitates fast, simple and accurate identification of breakers and fuses
  • Non-contact Voltage Detection: verifies if wires are energised (for use during passive tracing)

The Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver is optimised for the following applications**:

  • Tracing energised and de-energised wires
  • Identifying breakers and fuses
  • Performing non-contact voltage detection and passive tracing
