Due to the inclusion of a Beha-Amprobe CT-400-EUR Signal Clamp, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6030-EUR Advanced Wire Tracer Kit is suitable for tracing wires, cables and circuits with inaccessible bare conductors. The signal clamp is connected to the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter, enabling the transmitter to issue a signal through the wire’s insulation which may then be detected by the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver. Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver Description

The Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver detects and measures signals in wires, cables, breakers and fuses to enable precise location of these components and tracing of de-energised and energised circuits.

The Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver is able to facilitate active tracing when used with the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter; however, it is also capable of passive tracing when used independently (without the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter). It features a tip sensor for finding and following wires in tight spaces, corners and junction boxes, as well as four tracing modes:

  • Quick Scan Wire Tracing: for detecting wires from greater distances
  • Precision Wire Tracing: for accurately locating wires and/or faults behind walls, ceilings and floors
  • Breaker/ Fuse Identification: an advanced tracing function with automatic sensitivity that can be used to locate breakers and fuses precisely, quickly and easily
  • Non-contact Voltage Detection: verifies whether a wire is energised or de-energised (for use during passive tracing)

To ensure precise tracing and location of wires, cables, fuses and breakers, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver features adjustable sensitivity.

When a signal is detected, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver will provide an audible alert and indicates the strength of the signal numerically and via a bar graph on the receiver’s full-colour LCD display.

In addition to this, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver includes indicators for the detection of energised and de-energised wires and will display a green arrow when the correct fuse or breaker has been identified.

The Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver is an accurate, adaptable and easy-to-use tracing tool.

Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter Description

The Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter issues a signal through wires and cables; the signal is detected by the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver enabling the active tracing of energised and de-energised circuits.

As previously mentioned, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter can be used with the Beha-Amprobe CT-400-EUR Signal Clamp to transmit a signal through wires, cables and circuits with inaccessible bare conductors. Moreover, this transmitter can be connected directly to energised circuits up to 600V AC/DC in CAT I-III environments.

The strength of the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter’s signal can be adjusted using its High, Low and Loop modes. The user can see which mode is engaged via the Transmission mode indicator and Loop Mode indicator.

Furthermore, when the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter and Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver are used together in Breaker/ Fuse Identification mode, the user can identify the correct breaker/ fuse by detecting the component with the highest recorded signal thereby eliminating confusion caused by multiple false positives.

Like the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-RE Receiver, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6000-TE Transmitter is an easy-to-use and adjustable wire tracing tool.
