The Beha-Amprobe AT-8000-TE Transmitter can be used with the Beha-Amprobe AT-8000-RE Receiver to trace energised and de-energised wires in walls, floors and ceilings, as well as identify and locate breakers, fuses, shorts and opens. Together these tools are ideal for use on industrial sites with poorly documented wire locations. To this end, the Beha-Amprobe AT-8000-TE Transmitter has a safety rating of CAT IV 600V, the best of any transmitter on the market; it will protect the user against transient overvoltage spikes up to 8000V. For an overview of the Beha-Amprobe AT-8000-EUR Series, please see the following video.
The Beha-Amprobe AT-8000-TE Transmitter has three power modes:
- High: for normal circuits
- Low: for precision tracing in difficult areas
- Loop: boosts the signal when using the signal clamp (NOT included)
It also includes two frequency modes (6kHz and 33kHz) that enable optimal tracing of energised and de-energised circuits. The Beha-Amprobe AT-8000-TE Transmitter will automatically select the appropriate frequency mode/ output depending on the detected voltage and will prompt the user to set the most applicable power mode for the application.
The Beha-Amprobe AT-8000-TE Transmitter is a simple-to-use, safety-optimised signal transmitter.
