Before the Xmas scene kicks in and the festive lights come out, the PASS team are embracing the mystical ways of the tash for charity.

As part of the Movember effort, PASS decided to host our own mustachioed melee on the 30th November 2012, with £10 going to charity for each staff member who came into work sporting the spiffiest of facial fuzz. Needless to say the team rose to the occasion, sporting not only some pretty fantastic mustaches, but also some incredible costumes as well.

We've had all kinds wandering around the office today ranging from our mexican/chav managing director all the way to a Scouser who looks like he's stepped directly off Harry Enfield's Television Programme. We've also had three sombrero-wearing ladies wandering around in our training department, a collection of last-minute tashes in various forms from the calibration department and even a home-grown effort from the marketing department.

In order to choose the winner team members voted for their favourites, with three points going to a first choice, two for a second and 1 for third place.  Our winner by a mere narrow margin of just two points is Eddy Jones, who donned the Scouser outfit and earned himself £100 for a charity of his choosing.

Eddy decided ultimately to donate his £100 to Motor Neurone Disease Assocation, which I'm sure we'll all agree is an extremely good cause.

Second in line for a prize were our Three Amigos from the training department, who went the extra mile with their superb sombreros and ponchos! A great effort from Carole, Stacey and Amy!

The Three Amigos are donating their £50 to Mission Christmas, which brings Christmas joy to underprivileged children in the North East of England. Another great cause.

Our third prize goes to David Atkins, who sported an exceptionally tight top gun outfit that showed probably a bit more than we needed to see. It's all for charity though, and Dave has also agreed to donate his £50 to Mission Christmas.

A special mention must also go out to Dan Goddard who has been actively growing his mustache as part of Movember since the 1st.  He's raised over £250 for charity all by himself just for sporting a rather impressive mustache, and that's certainly a great effort.

Thanks to everyone for taking part in the fun today, and we hope you'll enjoy eating your bushy mustaches for the remainder of the afternoon.

Now who's for the most hideous Christmas jumper competition?
