The Kern MCD 300K-1 Mobile Chair Scale is ideal for measuring overweight and/or elderly patients. It is of particular use to paramedics, doctors, nurses, carers and other medical professionals.

It can be used to measure weight up to 300 kg and includes BMI and Hold functions. The BMI function may be used to determine whether the patient is underweight, overweight or of a ‘normal’ weight, whilst the Hold function is ideal for determining the weight of unsteady patients. When engaged, the Hold function will determine the patient’s average weight reading and will freeze this value on the digital display. This provides the medical professional with time to attend to the patient before recording the measurement.

Also adding to this product’s ease-of-use is its foldable armrests and footrests which facilitate the easy transfer of the patient to and from the chair. In addition to this the contrasting black of the seat and footrests, against the white frame of the chair makes it easier for patients with medical conditions such as dementia to navigate.
