The Chauvin Arnoux E3N Clamp AC/DC is able to work with both types of current, AC and DC, instead of just one that measure to a medium level. For both of these types, it has a maximum measurement of current of 100A, and it also has a peak pulse current of 100A.
There are two different rise times for this current clamp, 3us (1A/100mv) and 4us (1A/10mV), and each of these has an accuracy of 3% and 4% respectively. It has a maximum output voltage signal of 1V. It also comes with two ratios of transformation: 1A/100mV and 1A/10mV.
Extremely compact and lightweight, this AC/DC current clamp has dimensions of 231 x 36 x 67 millimetres as well as a weight of 330g. The jaw opening can extend to fit a maximum wire diameter of 11.8 millimetres, and the cable length can extend up to 2 metres, making it small and long enough to get into tough places.
Four safety levels protect this Chauvin Arnoux instrument: CAT I, CAT II, CAT III and CAT IV. It is also fully protected with safety over voltage ratings of CAT III 600 V and CAT IV 300 V. It also comes with extra electrical safety ratings of 600 V CAT III and CAT IV, and both of these have a pollution rating of 2.
Also included with the Chauvin Arnoux E3N Clamp AC/DC is a three-year standard manufacturer’s warranty.
