The number of electric vehicles on the roads is increasing; as a result, the number of EV charging stations is also increasing. According to government data from June 2022, there are 1.8 million electric vehicles (EVs) in Britain. Data from EDF (November 2022) shows more than 42,000 charge point connectors are available across the UK in over 15,500 locations. Therefore it is essential that EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment), such as electric vehicle charging stations, are constructed, installed, and tested following 18^th Edition regulations (Section 722).
