Designed for engineers and researchers working in the electronics, aerospace, and life sciences sectors, the FLIR A400/ A700 Thermal Camera Professional Science Kit includes a FLIR A400 or A700 Thermal Camera Core, 24° lens, 2.0x macro lens, and FLIR Research Studio Software. The camera core is fitted with Wi-Fi connectivity and an Advanced Image Streaming Configuration with support for MSX imaging, FLIR Macro Mode, and remote/ automatic and manual focusing. These kits are intended to simplify data collection and analysis.

Simplified Data Analysis, Sharing & Collaboration

Efficient and easy data collection is made possible because of the FLIR A400/ A700 Thermal Camera’s simple connections and fast ramp-up time. Moreover, as the FLIR A400/ A700 Thermal Camera includes Wi-Fi connectivity, you can stream ratiometric thermal footage to devices running FLIR’s Research Studio Software. In addition to this, the FLIR A400/ A700 Thermal Camera can be integrated into your chosen operating system, allowing you to share information with colleagues around the world and in an array of languages.

Versatile, Precise Thermal Imaging

The FLIR A400/ A700 Thermal Camera can be used to gather crisp, high-quality thermal images. To this end, it supports remote, automatic, and manual focusing as well as an array of lenses that may be used to maximise the number of pixels on your test object. It is supplied with a 2.0x macro lens which enables accurate thermal measurements of small objects. Alternatively, FLIR's Macro Mode also facilitates accurate temperature measurements of small objects but without having to change the FLIR A400/ A700’s lens.

Furthermore, the inclusion of a 5MP visual camera and support for MSX imaging, which overlays visual details onto thermal images, makes it easier to identify features and components.

Flexible Connectivity

As mentioned above, the FLIR A400/ A700 Thermal Camera includes a Wi-Fi interface. As a result, you can stream data to your workstation and operate the camera remotely. Similarly, the camera’s parameters can be altered and recording can be initiated via digital I/O.

To ensure connections are secure and correct, the FLIR A400/ A700 Thermal Camera includes M-style and positive-lock connectors. Finally, support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) eliminates the need for additional cables.
