This FLIR A400 Thermal Imaging Camera with a 24° lens and Wi-Fi connectivity is equipped with advanced smart sensor software and FLIR’s EBT software, making it suitable for screening individuals for possible elevated body temperature (EBT). It is NOT a diagnostic tool; however, it can be used for preliminary temperature screening to identify those with above-average skin temperature who may require further medical testing.
EBT can be indicative of a fever, a symptom of many illnesses. When the FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera is used alongside medical procedures and equipment it can be used to help prevent the potential spread of infection.
The FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera’s precise motorised focus ensures it is able to capture accurate temperature measurements throughout the FOV: the FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera has an accuracy of ±2°C. To maintain and improve accuracy the FLIR A400 Elevated Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera includes an External Black-Body Correction function.
Additionally, advanced smart sensor configuration equips the camera with sophisticated thermal imaging as well as edge computing and an Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT). The FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera can capture high-quality thermal images with a resolution of 320 x 240px. It also includes a range of analysis tools such as spotmeters, boxes, deltas, isotherms, iso-coverage, and hot/ cold detection. Analysis features, such as the Polygon Line function, can be used to increase definition in areas of interest and improve object analysis.
Similarly, the FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera’s FSX® (Flexible Scene Enhancement) technology enhances detail in low light and increases the contrast in even-temperature scenes. Additionally, it includes options for adjusting temperature measurements and alarms in relation to a reference temperature source.
Thermal footage and data can be shared via Wi-Fi using the FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera’s compressed radiometric streaming which reduces the bandwidth by 90%. In addition to enabling the sharing of data, compressed radiometric streaming also allows multiple cameras to be connected.
Furthermore, superior connectivity and built-in computing options mean the FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera can be integrated into a variety of new and existing networks. It includes support for Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP which enable easy integration into HMI/ SCADA systems. It provides superior I/O control over Modbus TCP Master, enabling integration with industrial automation systems using analogue and digital controls.
Additionally, the FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera can be easily integrated into web services with the REST API over XML or JSON.
The FLIR A400 Elevated Skin Temperature Screening Thermal Camera is a precise, powerful and flexible thermal monitoring system suitable for EBT screening.
