Pocket-sized, easy-to-use and great for building inspections, facilities maintenance, HVAC or electrical repair, FLIR's C3 thermal camera is the inspection tool you've been searching for.

Despite its small size, the FLIR C3 is still a fully radiometric thermal camera - every pixel in an image taken on the FLIR C3 is assigned its own temperature reading which you can analyse further by using FLIR Tools software (included as standard with the camera).

This camera is the upgraded, improved version of the original FLIR C2; it includes a selection of new features including WiFi connectivity with your smartphone (see below), hot/cold spot markers and a MAX/MIN temperature mode.

Pocket, Portable and Professional Thermal Camera

The FLIR C3 includes everything you need for finding problems, capturing documented footage and for reporting problems directly to superior or other team members.

A large size (3 inch) intuitive touch screen with auto orientation gives you a clear view of your thermal images at all times, while built-in WiFi connectivity allows you to seamlessly upload your images to FLIR Tools software on a phone, tablet or PC via direct wireless internet connection.

With the FLIR C3, finding the hottest and coldest part of the image is quick and easy thanks to an area box mode. This will measure the hottest/coldest spots inside the box, allowing you to easily locate problems.

When you're done, the FLIR C3 will fit neatly in your pocket, ready for use whenever you need it.

Fully Radiometric Thermal Imaging

Unlike many other lower-cost thermal cameras, the FLIR C3 is a fully radiometric thermal imaging camera.

Radiometric means that every pixel captured in an image using the FLIR C3 is assigned its own temperature reading; in practice, this allows you to see exactly what temperature was detected in every part of the image.

Without the radiometric mode, all you would get was a general overview of how heat is distributed, without the ability to do further analysis. This can be done using FLIR Tools software (included as standard) and allows you to create detailed thermal reports for yourself, customers or your superiors.

See the Difference with FLIR MSX

The FLIR C3 thermal cameras comes as standard with FLIR's multi-spectral dynamic imaging (MSX) mode.

MSX is an exclusive mode for FLIR thermal cameras which enhances the level of detail in captured thermal images. It does this by extracting detail from a standard, digital visual image and blends it together with a thermal image, creating a mix of the two.

In practice, MSX makes it easier to see what your camera was pointing at when the image was captured, allows you to see clearly defined edges to objects and can even be used to see specific components in something like an electrical panel.

You can see the difference for yourself in the image.
