The FLIR i35 App-enabled Thermal Camera is a handheld, app-driven infrared imager with both Wi-Fi and mobile data (LTE) connectivity. Designed to reduce cybersecurity risks, decrease reporting time, and increase usability, the FLIR i35 functions like a smartphone and utilises app intelligence to deliver swifter, simpler, safer thermal inspections.
The i35 is built upon FLIR’s ACE (Android Camera Ecosystem) platform. As such it is compatible with FLIR, third-party, and custom-made apps, putting all the software tools you need to optimise maintenance routines at your fingertips.
Automatic image upload, via Wi-Fi or mobile data (LTE), to your FLIR Ignite™ or Assetlink Cloud, reduces reporting time. Uploading data to the cloud allows you to track trends, analyse data, generate reports, create work orders, and integrate results into your Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), all while on site. The FLIR i35 is backed by FLIR’s ISO 27001 certification, so you can be certain data is handled securely, reducing the risk of cyberattacks.
Regardless of which sector you work in (e.g., electrical, plumbing, building, etc), there will be an app or apps designed to help you solve problems, streamline workflow, and simplify inspections. You can upload these to the i35, allowing you to work how you want to, and optimise your inspection routines.
In addition to this, the i35 is compatible with an array of FLIR-built apps and those developed by FLIR’s partners, giving you access to all the tools you need to investigate or diagnose problems.
Still, if you require something more bespoke, the i35 is also compatible with tailor-made apps. Simply contact FLIR to develop a custom app of your own.
The FLIR i35’s vast app compatibility extends the thermal camera's longevity, as it will evolve with your inspection needs.
*** The range of iXX-approved apps is ever-growing. Discover which ones are currently supported by the ACE platform, so you can build your perfect workflow. ***
The FLIR i35 features a 240 x 320px IR resolution and 38° x 49° field of view, making it ideal for use with IR windows. It captures clear thermal images with accurate Delta T measurements. Comparing thermal data and measurements to baseline information allows you to spot changes before they become failures. As such, issues can be addressed sooner, thereby avoiding costly downtime and repairs.
Functions such as app-guided inspections and on-camera routing make the FLIR i35 easy to use regardless of thermography experience. They also ensure that, irrespective of who is using the camera, inspections will be conducted comprehensively and accurately, delivering comparable results.
In addition to this, the FLIR i35 Thermal Camera includes a range of imaging functions that allow you to tailor the imager to suit your application, thereby gaining the best insights. These include:
· Selectable colour palettes

· Thermal imaging mode
· Digital imaging mode (via the integrated 8MP visual-light camera)
· Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode
· MSX imaging mode: this function superimposes digital details onto corresponding thermal images, making it easier to pinpoint faults
Ease of use is at the centre of the FLIR i35 Thermal Camera’s design. To this end, it features a pistol-grip construction with glove-friendly controls, ensuring it can be easily operated on site. Additionally, you can seamlessly gather electrical measurements alongside thermal images by connecting the FLIR i35 to FLIR’s test and measurement equipment via METERLiNK.
