The first camera in the FLIR TK1 family, but its capabilities are not restricted, take the resolution, a massive 1024 x 768 pixels, (786,432 pixels) giving high detailed images but with FLIR UltraMax,  it will double image resolution to 2048 x 1536 scaling it up to 3.1MP giving you even more detail and, when used with MSX, you can pick out the detail as it overlays the edges of the digital image so you can recognise individual objects easier.

OSX Precision HDIR Lenses give greater accuracy and work with the high-quality detector in the FLIR T1020, they are optimized for high definition infrared imaging and gather more light. With less noise it allows you to take images from 2x further away, the Advanced OSX optical system is for using the camera in extreme conditions.

FLIR T1020 boasts a 1% accuracy across its central temperature range and at temperature extremes, accuracy is still an impressive 2%, the T1020 can view and measure temperatures from -40 to 2000 °C (-40 to 3632 °F) and with a new and improved processor, the camera catches more detail and less noise, paired with sensors which act as an ambient temperature compensation system, any interferences in temperature caused by outside factors will be compensated for giving better accuracy and more reliable results, on top of all this, the camera can capture 16 infrared photos in under one second! Making it one of the fastest cameras in its class.

FLIR takes their technology even further on this camera with the addition of 30Hz radiometric video recording, meaning each pixel of the video has temperature data tagged to it, giving you intangible data that could be the difference between finding vital faults or not.

FLIR Thermal Studio Software

The software included allows the user to generate and analyse data and compile reports. The FLIR Thermal Studio Software is a standalone program for Windows 7,8 and 10 and does NOT require Microsoft Office to create reports.
