MSX works by blending together a captured thermal image with a standard digital image. In practice, this means you can easily see what the camera was pointing at and even spot individual items such as labels, ID numbers and specific parts. This camera also comes with FLIR's UltraMax mode - this is a unique image processing technique which generates reports with images that have four times as many pixels, allowing you to hone in one smaller targets and measure with exceptional levels of precision.

What's Different on the Bx Version?
The T640bx is basically identical in functionality to the standard FLIR T640. However, as this camera is made for building applications, it has the following changes:
- More focused temperature ranges from -40 to +150°C and +100 to 650°C
- The ability to set humidity and insulation alarms, including dew point alarms
Other than these changes, the two cameras are otherwise identical..
