The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras can be used with sUAS such as drones. They are optimised for gathering aerial, non-contact thermal data making them suitable for building, roof and power grid inspections, as well as infrastructure analysis, precision agriculture and public safety applications.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are available in three models with different lens sizes and fields of view; please see the table below for further details.
Model Code | Model Name | Lens Size | FOV |
436-0019-00 | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 6.8mm, 45 x 34 | 6.8mm | 45° x 34° |
436-0020-00 | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 9mm, 35 x 27 | 9mm | 35° x 27° |
436-0021-00 | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 13 mm, 25 x 19 | 13mm | 25° x 19° |
All of the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras have a thermal sensor resolution of 336 x 256 pixels and are able to capture thermal images with accurate, calibrated, radiometric temperature information in each pixel.
Radiometric thermal images captured using the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras can be saved as JPEGs to the onboard micro-SD card; when saved in a radiometric JPEG format thermal information is retained and embedded in each pixel. Alternatively, images may be saved in a 14-bit TIFF format.
In addition to this, the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras can be used to record thermal videos in real-time. Thermal videos may be saved in a MOV format to the micro-SD card. It is possible to export analogue video via a 10-pin mini-USB connector. Via this interface, the user can also power the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras.
As the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are fully compatible with the FLIR Tools Software (NOT included), the images and footage captured using these instruments can be used to create post-flight reports and may be subjected to comprehensive post-flight analysis.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras’ image settings are configured for airborne applications. However, it is possible to alter the cameras recording and control settings via the FLIR Vue Pro App. Moreover, the user can adjust the camera functions using the PWM inputs emitted from the drone’s controller.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras can be integrated into MAVLink systems. These thermal cameras also support field upgradeability, ensuring that they remain up-to-date with the demands of the industry.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are ideal for drone operators and thermographers requiring a method by which to gather accurate, aerial, radiometric thermal information.
