The Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester is optimised for installation professionals. As such, it features a variety of tests for measuring numerous electrical parameters:
The Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester is able to supply 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V test voltages. It also features a Z-max memory for loop tests (allowing the user to evaluate the highest loop test value) and automatic RCD test sequences. It is possible to engage or disengage the auto-start feature for RCD, loop and self-tests, allowing the user to tailor the instrument to his/her preferences and/or requirements. The auto-start feature, when engaged, adds to the efficiency and reliability of testing.
Also adding to the reliability of the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester’s results, as well as their accuracy, is the zero adapter which compensates for the resistance present in the mains cord and test leads.
This instrument is safety rated to CAT III 500V and CAT IV 300V, this, combined with its extensive measurement capabilities, makes it suitable for inspecting and troubleshooting a variety of electrical installations in accordance with various local regulations. Test results can be saved to the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester’s internal memory for documentation purposes.

The Fluke T6-600 Electrical Tester with FieldSense Technology is supplied for free with the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester. It can be used to conduct non-contact AC voltage and current measurements via its 17.8mm jaw. This tester can be used to measure the electrical parameters of wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm²) with a current of up to 200A. The inclusion of FieldSense technology facilitates the Fluke T6-600 Electrical Tester’s ability to perform non-contact AC voltage* and current measurements. This not only improves user-safety but also increases the efficiency of testing as the user does not need to open covers and/or remove wiring nuts.
In addition to the above; the T6-600 can also be used to measure resistance and AC/ DC voltage using test leads. The Fluke T6-600 Electrical Tester features the following ranges:
Measurements are indicated on the Fluke T6-600 Electrical Tester’s backlit display and may be retained on the screen using the HOLD function, allowing the user to record the reading at his/her convenience. The Fluke DMS Software is supplied for free with the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester. Measurements saved to the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester can be downloaded to a PC using the Fluke DMS Software.
Once downloaded, readings may be subjected to further analysis and/or organised into professional reports. The Fluke DMS Software can be used to create a variety of professional reports in accordance with an array of local regulations.
The Fluke DMS Software can be set to display menus in English, German, French or Dutch and is designed to be efficient and easy-to-navigate.
The Fluke DMS Software is a useful addition to the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester as it is suitable for managing test results in order to create relevant and complete documentation for the system/ appliance under investigation.
