The Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester can be used to troubleshoot electrical systems. It is designed for professional installers and as a result, features the following testing capabilities:
This instrument also features automatic RCD test sequences and an array of selectable test voltages including 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V. Additionally, the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester includes an auto-start function for RCD and loop test, as well as a self-test function to ensure functionality. These features add to both the reliability of the Fluke 1663’s readings, as well as its ease and efficiency of operation.
Ease-of-use is all but guaranteed as a result of the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester’s intuitive interface which can be navigated by professional installers of all experiences. Moreover, this instrument features a compact, lightweight design and is supplied with a padded carrying and waist strap, thereby improving the ease with which this instrument can be handled and therefore operated.
This instrument is also supplied with a hard carrying case, remote probe and lead, as well as a zero adapter. This final accessory helps to improve the accuracy of the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester’s measurements as it compensated for resistance present in test leads and mains cords.
Measurements acquired by the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester are indicated on its illuminated display and can be saved to the tester’s onboard memory. In addition to this, loop tests are saved to the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester’s Z-max memory which facilitates easy evaluation of the highest loop test value.
Data can be transferred to the user’s PC via the IR-USB interface so that it may be organised, exported and/or printed using the included free Fluke DMS Software.
The Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester is ideal for testing electrical installations in accordance with local regulations. Test results acquired using this instrument can be saved and processed to ensure complete documentation for each electrical circuit under investigation. Like the above Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester, the Fluke 324 True-RMS Clamp Meter can be used to troubleshoot electrical systems. It can measure the following electrical parameters:
True-RMS readings allow the user to measure non-linear signals. The Fluke 324 True-RMS Clamp Meter’s measurement capabilities make it suitable for verifying the presence of load current as well as AC voltage and continuity. It can also be used to investigate switches, fuses and contacts.
Measurements can be retained on the clamp meter’s large, backlit display using the Hold function, allowing the user to record readings as necessary.
With regards to its ergonomics, the Fluke 324 True-RMS Clamp Meter is slim and compact ensuring that it is easy-to-handle and can be used to measure circuits located in tight, difficult-to-access spaces. Its rugged casing and CAT III 600V, CAT IV 300V safety rating also make it suitable for use in a variety of challenging environments.
The Fluke 324 True-RMS Clamp Meter provides the user with reliable, noise-free measurements for a variety of electrical parameters. This tool is of particular use to commercial and residential electricians requiring an instrument for general purpose troubleshooting.
The Fluke DMS Software is a data management software program. It can be used with the above Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester and facilitates the user’s ability to download data from his/her tester.
Once data has been downloaded to the user’s PC, the Fluke DMS Software can be used to organise measurements, conduct further analysis, export the information, and/ or create professional reports in accordance with a variety of local regulations.
This software is efficient, easy-to-navigate and can be set to English, German, French or Dutch.
The Fluke DMS Software is ideal for managing test results acquired by the Fluke 1663 Multifunction Installation Tester, as well as using these results to produce complete documentation for the appliance/ system under investigation.
