As the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester is also Fluke Connect® enabled (another feature that is unique to this model), results from the above tests may be sent to a smartphone or tablet (with the Fluke Connect® app downloaded) or can be saved to the Fluke Cloud™. It is also possible to communicate results to relevant persons via email or video call using Fluke Connect’s ShareLive feature. This allows collaborative decisions to be made without the installation professional having to leave the field.
Furthermore, data saved to the Fluke Cloud™ can be accessed as required regardless of location. Measurements saved to the Fluke Cloud™ are subject to world-class data protection and can be imported into Fluke’s Data Management Software (see below) for further analysis and/or to create certificates. Measurements may also be saved to the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester’s three-tier memory. This extensive memory and the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester’s comprehensive measurement capabilities ensure that it is able to inspect and test electrical installations in accordance with a variety of local regulations.
This instrument also features a Z-max memory for loop tests allowing the user to access and evaluate the highest loop test result. In addition to this, the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester includes a number of features designed to aid with the simplicity, accuracy and comprehensiveness of performing loop tests. This instrument is also capable of measuring RCD trip current and trip time simultaneously (types AC and A). Moreover, the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester can perform fast voltage measurements between L-N, L-PE and N-PE via the mains cord removing the need to change measurement connections. The Fluke 1664FC’s ring testing function also adds to the convenience of this tester, as required input sockets can be selected via the soft keys removing the need to continually swap test leads.
Nominal resistance present in test leads and mains cords is compensated for by the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester’s zero adapter. This feature adds to the accuracy of the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester, whereas its 50V Earth Volt Touchpad protects the user from potentially dangerous situations by detecting raised earth voltages above 50V.
Measurements are indicated on the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester’s large, backlit display with a wide viewing angle and clear symbols. The Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester with FieldSense Technology is supplied for free with the Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester. It is able to conduct true-RMS, non-contact* voltage, current and frequency measurements of wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm²) carrying a maximum current of 200A. The Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester’s FieldSense technology facilitates the non-contact, true-RMS measurement of AC voltage and current, as well as frequency, via its 17.8mm jaw.* The Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester features the following measurement ranges:
Current and voltage measurements are displayed simultaneously on the Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester’s easy-to-read, backlit display. This increases the efficiency with which electrical systems can be tested. Measurements may be frozen on the display using the HOLD button allowing the operator to record readings at his/her convenience.
In addition to measuring frequency, AC current and voltage via the Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester’s jaw, this instrument can also be used with test leads to perform AC voltage measurements (to 1000V), DC voltage measurements (to 1000 V) and resistance measurements (between 1Ω and 100kΩ).
The Fluke T6-1000 Electrical Tester with FieldSense technology improves the efficiency and ease with which electrical systems may be checked. The Fluke DMS Software is able to create reports in accordance with a variety of local regulations.
