The Fluke 378 True-RMS Non-Contact AC/DC Clamp Meter is a voltage and current clamp with a Power Quality indicator, FieldSense technology, and an iFlex probe. There are two versions of this clamp meter: one with Fluke Connect and one without Fluke Connect. Please see the table below for more details.

Models with Fluke Connect can communicate with a smartphone/ tablet with the Fluke Connect App downloaded. Via this app, users can view and save measurements, monitor, log and trend data, and calculate parameters such as Phase Rotation. Fluke Connect and the Fluke Connect App are particularly useful when attempting to identify intermittent faults.

FieldSense technology facilitates voltage and current measurement without making contact with a live conductor. When the Fluke 378 reaches a stable FieldSense measurement its display will turn green. The Fluke 378 True-RMS Non-Contact AC/DC Clamp Meter can perform three-phase voltage and current tests in three quick and easy steps. Its iFlex Probe enables the measurement of very high currents (up to 2500A) and provides access to large conductors in tight spaces.

Further to this, the Fluke 378 True-RMS Non-Contact AC/DC Clamp Meter can also calculate a full set of phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase values, eliminating the need for manual sums, and includes a Visual Continuity indicator. When continuity is detected the Fluke 378 True-RMS Non-Contact AC/DC Clamp Meter’s display will turn green while the beeper sounds, making it easy to identify continuity in noisy environments.

Moreover, as mentioned above, the Fluke 378 True-RMS Non-Contact AC/DC Clamp Meter is equipped with a Power Quality indicator. This feature detects and displays power quality issues pertaining to current, voltage, and power factor while the user is carrying out FieldSense measurements. This allows the user to identify quickly and easily whether there is an issue with the equipment or with the power line.

Finally, the Fluke 378 True-RMS Non-Contact AC/DC Clamp Meter is supplied with a TPAK Magnetic Hanging Kit that can be used to hang the clamp meter on a steel door, pipe, nail, or screw. A carry case with the capacity to hold the Fluke 378, iFlex Probe, test leads, and black grounding clip is also included in the scope of delivery.
