The Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window provides a permanent point-of-access to energised panels. It allows users to connect three-phase testing equipment to these panels without having to open the panel door or wear personal protective equipment, thereby improving measurement efficiency and safety. For a quick introduction to how the Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window works, please see the following video.
The Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window is available as a standalone tool or with a selection of accessories:
- 5075807 - Fluke PQ400/B Electrical Measurement Window ONLY
- 4920947 - Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window with Accessories
Both models can be used to reduce the risk of arc-flash and electrocution, decrease maintenance costs, downtime and work permit requirements, and increase measurement efficiency. Using the Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window the operator can permanently connect the voltage and current sensors within the electrical panel allowing him/her to conduct power quality and energy measurements via the external access points. It is possible to configure the Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window to include connections for three-phase voltages, neutral and ground. Once measurements are completed, the three-phase tester’s voltage and current connections are removed from the external front panel, the lid is locked, and the Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window is left in position for future use.
This method of performing readings reduces downtime as data can be measured and logged at any time without having to disturb operations. Additionally, using the Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window eliminates the hazards encountered when measuring open panels, this, in turn, reduces the PPE required saving both time and money without compromising the user's safety.
The Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window will automatically detect the Fluke 1740 and 1730 Series of Power Quality and Energy Loggers and their compatible clamps, again increasing measurement efficiency, ease and safety. Moreover, the Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window is also compatible with standard 4mm, shrouded safety-socket voltage test leads which prevent the user from accidentally touching electrical components. Therefore, he/she does not need to purchase specialist test leads in order to make easy and safe voltage connections.
The Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window can be rotated 360°, allowing the user to adapt it to the application. It is easy to install using a step drill bit and electro-hydraulic hole punch (114.3mm/ 4.5” diameter).
The Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window is a simple-to-use and safety-optimised tool designed to improve the efficiency, convenience and ease of conducting critical power quality and energy measurements.
