In addition to monitoring access, this solution can identify individuals with elevated skin-surface temperature which is often indicative of fever, a common symptom of many viruses. This thermal terminal and stand kit CANNOT be used to diagnose illnesses; however, it is suitable for helping to prevent the potential spread of infection in public and professional places.

The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal is an access control instrument with additional skin-temperature screening capabilities. It is comprised of a 7” LCD, 2MP wide-angle lens, built-in card reader, onboard memory and Vanadium Oxide uncooled sensor for measuring skin-surface temperature.
The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal is a compact, comprehensive security and temperature-screening solution.
Temperature-Screening
The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal is optimised for efficient temperature screening: it will automatically measure skin-surface temperature upon detection of a human face. Furthermore, it does not require identity authentication to begin temperature-screening, again improving measurement efficiency.
The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal is able to measure temperatures between 30°C and 45°C to an accuracy of ±0.5°C.* Temperature measurements are displayed on the authentication page.
The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal’s door status can be configured to open or close depending on the detected skin-surface temperature. Furthermore, when an abnormal skin-surface temperature is detected, the Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal will issue a voice prompt/ alert. Additionally, out-of-range temperatures are uploaded to the security centre; this allows security/ temperature-screening personnel to remain at a safe distance from those being screened.
Temperature information is saved to the user’s chosen software. The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal transfers online and offline temperature measurements to the user’s software via TCP/IP communication.

The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal can be set to one of three authentication modes:

The Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal can store up to 50 000 recognised faces, 50 000 recognised cards and 100 000 security/temperature events. Practical Design

To prevent the door from opening in the event that the terminal is destroyed, the Hikvision DS-K1T671TM-3XF Face Recognition & Temperature-Screening Terminal is connected to a secure door control via an RS-485 protocol.
