The Kane RD99 is used to detect even the smallest refrigerant gas leaks and can detect all existing refrigerants including HFCs, HCFCs, CFC, SG6, R134A and R123.
With a built-in alarm system, finding leaks is easy. An increased ticking rate can be heard as larger amounts of leaks are detected and visual indicators also light up as the tester's probe sensor is moved closer to the leak's source. This makes sure that leaks can be detected whether in a normal environment or in noisy environments where the ticking sound could not be easily heard.
The RD99 comes as standard equipped with a flexible gooseneck probe, allowing the user to easily bend the sensor into a difficult application in order to carry out testing. It also includes a high sensitivity switch which can be adjusted to find smaller leaks.
