Measure temperature levels both without direct contact and with contact with this Martindale thermometer!
Ideal for use in checking the temperature of pipes or electrical components, the IR90's infrared mode allows the user to measure temperature from -20 to 550°C safely from a distance. Just point the laser marker directly at the measurement point and the IR90 will read the surface temperature and display a reading on its digital display.
For added accuracy, the IR90 also accepts the input of a type K thermocouple for direct contact surface measurements. This expands the range to -200 to 1372°C and is ideal for use in applications where the infrared mode may not be necessary.
A built-in limit function is also included, allowing upper and lower temperature thresholds to be set. If these are exceeded, the IR90 will emit an audible alarm.
