Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers – Choice of Model

The Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers can be used to increase the amount of torque applied when using a smaller torque wrench.

Like the standard series, the Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers have an accuracy of ±4% and can be purchased with an OPTIONAL UKAS accredited calibration certificate.

These models can also be bought with an Anti-Wind-Up Ratchet (please call for details). The AWUR improves the safety and ease-of-operation of the Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers as it is designed to contain the forces generated during tightening. The Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers are available in two models that vary in regards to their torque multiplication ratios; please see the table below for further information.

Both of these models have a torque range of 6000 N.m and are supplied with a cranked reaction foot. The reaction is taken from a high-strength spline and can slide on the spline allowing the Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers to accommodate sockets of various lengths.

The Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers differ from their standard series counterparts in that they have a higher torque output for a given gearbox diameter. Furthermore, their smaller diameters facilitate better access to apparatus such as pipe flanges, thereby expanding the Norbar HT60 Handtorque® Small Diameter Multipliers’ scopes-for-use.
