The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope is an infrared-imaging monocular with a high-definition thermal sensor (640 x 480px at 17µm) and 25mK thermal sensitivity. It is specifically designed for hunters and provides sharp, vividly contrasted thermal images to enable easy and clear identification of animals and animals’ extremities, as well as branches, leaves, grass, and terrain, even in the rain, fog and other conditions with low thermal contrast.

Long Detection Range

In addition to a highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor, the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope includes a large aperture lens (F50/1.0). Not only does this provide detailed thermal imaging, it also equips the IR monocular with a detection distance of up to 1800m (for a 1.8m object) even in total darkness.

Stadiometric Rangefinder

This function calculates the approximate distance to an object with a known height, for instance, deer (1.7m), wild boar (0.7m) or rabbits (0.3m).

Image Boost Technology

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope includes advanced algorithms that increase image contrast, sharpness, and overall detail. This means hunters can clearly identify objects in both the foreground and background.

8 Colour Palettes

Using selectable colour palettes, hunters can adapt the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope to suit particular situations. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot palettes are optimised for object detection, while the Rainbow and Ultramarine palettes increase the likelihood of target/ object recognition and identification, and Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are ideal for long observation at night.

2.5x-20x Variable Magnification

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope features an 8x digital zoom that can be adjusted gradually or in 2x steps, allowing users to customise their field-of-view. This improves focus and provides better object recognition at significant distances.

Picture-in-Picture Function

A magnified image is displayed in the top-centre 10% of the screen, allowing hunters to zoom-in on a particular area without losing the overall field-of-view.

Fast Frame Rate

A rapid refresh rate of 50Hz means the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope provides fluid imaging of fast-moving objects.

Full-Colour HD AMOLED Display

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope’s 1024x768px HD AMOLED display is fast-responding, enabling it to support the monocular’s quick frame rate to provide smooth thermal imaging of fast-moving objects, even in cold conditions. The display also delivers high-contrast images with improved colour rendering.

Display Off

To improve camouflage and conserve battery life during non-observation periods, the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope includes a Display Off function. This switches off the display, preventing light from escaping the eyepiece, without affecting other background functions or settings. As a result, the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope can be powered up quickly the moment it is required.

Integrated Wi-Fi & Smartphone Compatibility

Over Wi-Fi, the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope can be connected to an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet with the Stream Vision App installed. Via this connection, hunters can stream footage, as well as download saved media, to their smartphone or tablet. They can also install firmware updates, accessible via the Stream Vision App, onto the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope.

16GB Memory

Using the Record function, hunters can capture and save thermal images and footage to the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope’s 16GB memory.

User-friendly Interface

To enable ease of operation, the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope includes an intuitive interface with an easy-to-read, icon-driven, alpha-numeric status bar visible at the bottom of the display. Furthermore, its internal menu items and options are displayed on a contrasting gradient substrate enabling hunters to monitor settings without losing sight of their target.

Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope’s lightweight magnesium alloy housing provides high structural rigidity and dissipates heat generated by electronics. This ensures the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope can deliver operational stability and high-quality imaging over a prolonged period of time.

IPX7 Waterproof

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope is suitable for use in heavy rainfall and snow; it will remain functional even after submersion in 1m of water for 30 minutes.

Wide Range of Operating Temperatures

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope is designed to deliver consistent, high performance in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C.

High-capacity Battery

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope is powered by a quick-change rechargeable battery pack that provides a non-stop operating time of approximately 8 hours. Additionally, the inclusion of a micro-USB jack means an external power supply can be connected to the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope. Charging using a power bank protects the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope from rapid discharge and enables it to be powered up quickly during cold weather.

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope is also compatible with IPS14 battery packs (NOT included) which provide up to 16 hours of power.

The Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro Thermal Imaging Scope is a highly sensitive, versatile, and rugged infrared imager specifically designed for hunters.
