Seaward Clare Sentinel 500 Production Line Safety Tester

The Seaward Clare Sentinel 500 gives user a powerful, cost-effective solution for performing high potential (hipot) electrical safety testing.

Equally at home as part of a production line or in laboratory environments, the Sentinel 500 can perform AC dielectric strength testing to 5kV and DC dielectric strength testing to 6kV with up to 500VA (100mA) AC power output.

In order to comply with international test standards, the Sentinel 500 includes adjustable ramp and hold times (0.1 to 999.9s) where the test time can be set to appropriately rise to the correct output voltage as needed. This also has the added benefit of ensuring that equipment under test isn't damaged and high-resolution measurements ensure you know everything is as accurate as possible.

Sentinel 500 safety testers also include the ability for the user to set up to 100 test conditions which can be saved and recalled for single test purposes or for sequential tests. You can also combine together manual test sequences to create up to 100 automatic sequences, speeding up your safety testing significantly.

To ensure your safety, the Sentinel 500 will automatically cut out output voltage within 150μs when abnormal output voltages are detected or when upper/lower trip limits are reached. It'll also automatically discharge the item under test with 200ms on completion of the test and includes high brightness LED warnings if there's voltage present on the test outputs.

If you're looking to integrate the Sentinel 500 into an automated system, this tester includes a remote start terminal and signal I/O port with support for remote starting, interlocking and PLC control. It also has RS-232 and USB interfaces for control of the instrument via PC, or to download testing results as needed.
