The Seek Thermal Compact Android USB-C Smartphone Thermal Camera transforms the user’s Android smartphone* into an infrared imager. It plugs into the USB-C port of Android smartphones and is used with the FREE Seek Thermal App to capture thermal images and videos. This camera has an IR resolution of 206 x 156 pixels and an adjustable focus allowing the user to capture high-resolution, clear thermal media. Additionally, its wide, 36° field-of-view and detection range of 300m makes it particularly useful for detecting electrical, building, HVAC and boiler issues. Thermal Capabilities

The Seek Thermal Compact Android USB-C Smartphone Thermal Camera is able to detect temperatures between -40°F and 626°F / -40°C and 330°C. It can be set to °C or °F measurement modes using the Seek Thermal App (available for free download from Google Play). It is also possible to choose from nine colour palettes using this app as well as engage various functions such as Spot Thermography and High/ Low Thresholds. Additionally, thermal media can be sent to colleagues, clients and friends using the free Seek Thermal App. The camera is powered by the user’s smartphone removing the need for batteries. This small, rugged and easy-to-use IR imager is ideal for building contractors, HVAC technicians, gas installers, plumbers and electricians.

Smartphone Case Compatibility

In some cases, thicker smartphone cases (especially ruggedized ones) will not provide enough clearance around the connection port. To use the camera you must either remove the case or attach the camera using an extender or adapter (sold separately).

Operating System Compatibility
