Optimised for use in marine and shipbuilding applications, the Sika 850 can be used to test exhaust gas temperature, cooling water temperature and oil temperature (using appropriate sensors - sold separately).
The Sika 850 is powered by a low power solar cell - if there's light levels present above 50 lux (either artificial or natural light it suitable), the thermometer can operate without any other power supply. This makes the 850 ideal for both indoor and outdoor use and suitable for constant, prolonged measurements.
Each Sika 850 includes a mounting plate, allowing it to be installed in practically any application. The standard version of this product temperature reading range from -60 to 650°C and the front of the unit is protected to IP65 (completely protected against water jets and dust damage).
