Socket & See VIP150 Two-pole Voltage Tester Description

The Socket & See VIP150 Two-pole Voltage Tester can be used to test circuits for the presence of AC/DC voltages prior to commencing any necessary work.

The Socket & See VIP150 Two-pole Voltage Tester features a six-step voltage scale. It includes visual indications for 6V, 12V, 50V, 120V, 230V and 400V AC/DC.

This instrument does not require batteries to function, adding to its reliability and practicality. The Socket & See VIP150 Two-pole Voltage Tester's probes are joined by a 1.4m, ultra-flexible, double insulated cable, this also adds to the tester’s practicality as it enables testing in awkward, difficult-to-reach and/or rugged areas.  

In addition to practicality, the Socket & See VIP150 Two-pole Voltage Tester has been optimised for safety. To this end, it features a compact design and includes HSE GS38-compliant tips. This instrument has also been built to ensure conformity with EN 61010 and CAT IV 600V standards.

This instrument has been optimised for the UK market and may be used to test the functionality of other multimeters and voltage indicators in addition to the aforementioned Socket & See VIP150 Two-pole Voltage Tester. The Socket & See SP200 Professional Proving Unit is also powerful enough to check old filament style lamps.

The Socket & See SP200 Professional Proving Unit features an intelligent ramp designed for testing multimeters and voltage indicators. It can create voltages between 50 and 690V with a true AC waveform at 50Hz, ensuring that it always offers a correct reading using the AC range of the instrument-under-investigation.

The Socket & See SP200 Professional Proving Unit features automatic operation and turn-off. This adds to the unit’s ease-of-use and extends its longevity via conserving battery life. The Socket & See SP200 Professional Proving Unit is powered using six AA alkaline batteries.

This Socket & See TECC10 Instrument Carry Case is made of hard-wearing, durable fabric and features a small carry strap allowing the user to transport the case and equipment by hand.

The Socket & See TECC10 Instrument Carry Case features the following dimensions: 20cm x 24cm x 4.5cm and can be broken up into two compartments using the supplied divider. A sleeve for storing manuals and paperwork is also included with this case.
