Time Electronics 7050 Multifunction Process Calibrator Details

Designed for use with process equipment and various types of thermocouple, this calibration unit allows users to measure, simulate and calibrate these devices accurately.

The 7050's internal mechanism is actually built directly into the carry case, making porting this unit around extremely easy thanks to the included handle. When used in testing this device can measure 3 ranges up to 40V, 400mA and 40kΩ. It can also output voltage to 10V with 1μV resolution, outputs current to 20mA with 1μA resolution and outputs resistance from 0 to 400Ω with 0.01Ω resolution.

Since this calibrator is also a thermocouple calibration device, it can be used in combination with type J, K, T, R, S, B, N and E thermocouples to carry out temperature measurement and simulation in either degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. It can also be used to simulate and measure RTD as well and the readouts are displayed automatically on the built-in screen as both input and output functions.

The 7050 also includes five calibration points which can be accessed via a preset percentage selector. This allows all functions to be generated in a fully user programmable ramp format.

This calibration unit can also be used as a signal converter and any electronic input signal can be converted and be output as a proportional signal of 4-20mA, 0.5V or square root 4-20mA.

The 7050 is powered either by batteries or can be powered by the mains.
