Designed specifically for monitoring the atmosphere within tanks, the marine-approved Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector is a portable methane and oxygen monitor ideal for individuals wishing to purge, free, or maintain storage and transportation tanks. An integrated pump draws samples through a 30m-long line allowing you to sample the tank quickly, gathering data from the top, middle, and base of the unit.
The Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector measures the concentration of flammable gases, in this instance methane, using a dual IR sensor. This means it can measure gas in %vol as well as %LEL concentrations and will auto-range between the two, ensuring you are always working to the correct parameter. Furthermore, it isn’t inhibited by high hydrocarbon concentrations.
In addition to this, the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector provides real-time oxygen concentrations and will inform you when levels are low enough to load and store fuel safely and when they’re high enough to enter the tank safely.
Readings are indicated on the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector’s top-mounted, easy-to-read display. Audible (>95dB), visual (red and blue flashing LEDs), and vibrating alarms will also alert you when gas concentrations reach dangerous levels.
Compact and rugged, the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector weighs just 340g and can be easily clipped to your belt or overalls.
