Marine-approved and specifically designed for monitoring the atmosphere within tanks, the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector can be used as a personal gas monitor as well as to conduct tank checks and confined space pre-entry checks. A dual IR sensor measures the concentration of methane in the atmosphere. It auto-ranges between % vol and % LEL concentrations ensuring you are always working in the correct parameter and remaining completely functional even in environments with high hydrocarbon concentrations.
In addition to this, the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector provides up-to-the-moment oxygen concentrations and will let you know when:
- Levels are low enough to load and store fuel safely
- Levels are high enough to enter the tank safely
Readings are indicated on the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector’s top-mounted, easy-to-read display. Audible (>95dB), visual (red and blue flashing LEDs), and vibrating alarms will alert you when gas concentrations reach dangerous levels. An integrated pump and 30m-long line allow you to sample the tank quickly by gathering data from the top, middle, and base of the unit.
Compact, rugged, and lightweight (340g), the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector can be easily clipped to a belt or overalls.
