Suitable for conducting tank checks, confined space pre-entry checks, and for use as a personal gas monitor, the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector is a marine-approved gas monitor specifically designed for measuring the atmosphere within tanks. The four-gas Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector monitors the concentrations of methane, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulphide.
The Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector provides up-to-the-minute oxygen concentrations and will indicate when:
- Oxygen levels are low enough to load and store fuel safely
- Oxygen levels are high enough to enter the tank safely
Moreover, audible (>95dB), visual (red and blue flashing LEDs), and vibrating alarms will issue an alert when gas concentrations reach hazardous levels.
The concentration of methane in the atmosphere is measured by a dual IR sensor that auto-ranges between %vol and %LEL concentrations to ensure you are always working in the correct parameter. Furthermore, the dual IR sensor remains effective even in environments with high concentrations of hydrocarbons.
Readings are visible on the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector’s top-mounted, easy-to-read display. To enable quick sampling from the top, middle, and bottom of the tank, the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector is equipped with a pump and a 30m-long line.
Finally, the Crowcon Gas Pro TK MED Personal Gas Detector is compact, rugged, and lightweight (340g). It can be easily clipped to a belt or overalls.
