The Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer with Datalogging has a temperature range of -50 to 160°C. It is available in three models with various probe lengths; for further information regarding these models, please see the following table.

Unlike its sister product, the Fluke 1551A-X Calibration Stik Thermometer, this model features data-logging capabilities and can be set to log measurements at the following intervals:

• 60 minutes

The Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer is able to save up to 10 000 time-stamped measurements to its onboard memory.

Adding to this product’s adaptability is the option to display measurements in either °C or °F and to a user-settable resolution of 0.1, 0.01 or 0.001, thereby allowing the user to alter the Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer to suit the application.

Readings are viewable via the backlit, LCD display which may be rotated to 90°, ensuring that the Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer remains easy to read in a variety of circumstances.

Other practical features present on the Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer include an Auto-Power-Off function which allows the user to extend the Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer’s battery life to up to 300 hours. This instrument also includes a low-battery indicator and stop-measure function to prevent the user form conducting inaccurate readings as a result of low battery power.

The Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer has an accuracy of ±0.05°C over its full range. This specification includes uncertainty components, such as drift, for up to one year; this removes the need for the user to carry out additional uncertainty calculations as the displayed temperature is the accurately measured temperature.  Furthermore, unlike with mercury-in-glass thermometers, the Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer does not require the external conditions to match the calibration conditions in order for accurate temperatures to be determined.

The Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer is an accurate, intrinsically safe (ATEX and IECEx compliant) alternative to mercury-in-glass thermometers. The thin-film RTD sensor probe is less susceptible to drift and more resilient than a mercury thermometer; there are no risks of mercury spills when using this instrument. The precision of measurement is not compromised by heat loss caused by stem conduction and the Fluke 1551A-X-DL Calibration Stik Thermometer only requires an immersion depth of 7cm/ 2.8” in order to conduct reliable temperature measurements.
