Fluke 6102 Micro-Baths Temperature Calibrator

The Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator is a compact temperature calibrator suitable for calibrating liquid-in-glass and bimetal thermometers, as well as a range of sensors of various shapes and sizes. It has a temperature range of 35°C to 200°C.

The Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator is able to accommodate an eclectic range of sensors and thermometers because it includes a 140mm-deep well, with a 48mm diameter. Its ability to accommodate a fluid medium also adds to its versatility and expands its scope-for-use.

The Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator is able to heat from 25°C to 200°C in forty minutes and can cool from 200°C to 100°C in thirty-five minutes. It has a stability of ±0.03°C or better across its entire temperature range (dependent on the fluid medium used) and has a well uniformity of ±0.02°C. This reduces the degree of uncertainty, making it suitable for use with a reference thermometer.

Further to this, the Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator has a display accuracy of ±0.25°C and is able to indicate temperatures to a resolution of 0.01°C/ 0.01°F. This makes the micro-bath suitable for conducting temperature calibrations without a reference thermometer. The temperature range and stability of this instrument are achieved with a single moving part as this calibrator is free of CFCs and compressors. This innovative design reduces the size and the weight of the Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator, whilst improving its longevity. The lightweight Fluke 1602 weighs 4.5kg/ 10lb (fluid inclusive) making it easy to carry.

Furthermore, the inclusion of a spill-proof lid facilitates the user’s ability to transport and/or carry the Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator with the fluid added without causing hazardous spills. This removes the need for additional containers thereby adding to both the safety and practicality of this instrument.

In addition to a spill-proof lid, the Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator features RS-232 ports and is supplied with Fluke’s Interface-It Software. This computer program can be used to save measurements to a text file on the user’s PC and enables the operator’s ability to adjust and access features, functions and settings remotely.

Moreover, the Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator can be used with Fluke’s MET/TEMP II Software (NOT included). Similarly, this computer program can be used to program the micro-bath to conduct calibrations and can record results without the need for user supervision. It is also capable of monitoring assets and client information and is able to produce calibration constants, reference tables and reports which may be exported to customers via email.

Alternatively, the Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator can be configured manually and to this end features a ramp rate adjust, eight set-point memory and is supplied with contacts for calibrating thermal switches. It also includes an over-temperature safety cut-out to protect both the user and the instrument.

The Fluke 6102 Micro-Bath Temperature Calibrator offers the practicality and portability of a dry-well tester but with the accuracy, stability and reliability of a liquid bath calibrator.
