The Gagemaker BX-1000 and BXG-1000 Groove Gauges measure API ring groove diameters and widths on R, RX, and BX connections. They replace traditional GO/NO GO templates and require presetting with a micrometer or a Gagemaker MIC TRAC system.
The BX-1000 can measure both straight and tapered groove diameters, shallow bores, and hole locations within a range of 2.6" to 13", with the option to extend up to 37" using additional rails. It includes .188" contact points for precise measurements. The BXG-1000, with .072" contact points, accommodates groove widths from 0.375" to 1.5" and is suitable for straight and tapered profiles.
