The Kane 458S tests and services domestic gas, oil, biomass, and some commercial appliances. It measures CO (0–2000 ppm) and CO₂ (0–20%) using a high-precision IR sensor, and calculates oxygen, CO: CO₂ ratios, excess air, and combustion efficiency. Hydrogen-ready (up to 20%) and compatible with natural gas, LPG, butane, light oil, wood pellets, and propane, it features a six-line display with Data Hold, rotary dial controls, and wireless communication for logging and printing reports via Kane Live and Gas Checker apps. Ergonomic, durable, and protected with CO/CO₂ sensor safeguards and purge pump protection.
